ISTQB® Training

An ISTQB^® Accredited Training Provider has met the criteria set by ISTQB^® and has successfully been through the accreditation process with an ISTQB^® Member Board.

The accreditation process includes aspects such as evaluation of the training materials to ensure they give the required coverage of the respective ISTQB® syllabus and checking that the trainer(s) has the necessary experience and holds the relevant ISTQB^® certificate for the training course being taught.

It is strongly recommended to only attend training by ISTQB^® Accredited Training Providers.

The course syllabus dictates the areas that must be covered in each course, but other details, such as the order of the material, are left to the training provider.

Cost depends on the Accredited Training Provider you choose. Since all Accredited Training Providers operate independently, their pricing will vary. One of the core principles of the ISTQB^® certification program is to ensure competition at the training level.

Only Accredited Training Providers have been validated by ISTQB^® using the official ISTQB^® accreditation process.

To become an ISTQB^® Accredited Training Provider you must offer at least one training course using ISTQB^® accredited materials (you can develop these yourself or license accredited materials from another organization).

Training is not mandated in order to be eligible to take an exam for Foundation, Specialist, or Advanced level certification but it is recommended. Please ensure that you only train with an Accredited Training Provider whether for in-class face-to-face training, virtual online training, or e-learning.
